In spring 2018, a steering committee comprised of leaders from neighborhood associations, neighborhood commission, City of San Jose District 9 Council, United Neighborhood of Santa Clara County, and others volunteered their time and effort to establish the District 9 Leadership Group (D9LG).

The D9LG was formally recognized by the City of San Jose at the June 19 City Council meeting.

Pictured are some of these members, including Bob Burres, Jim Cantore, Ed Chirco, Rudy Flores, Jr., Sam Ho, Ken Kelly, Terry Martin, David Noel, Vianey Nava, Gail Osmer, Ed Rast, Frank Ponciano and Carol Stephenson (D9 Councilmember Don Rocha’s representatives),  Sabuhi Siddique, Michael Young.

Thank you for their tireless efforts, and congratulations to new leaders for continuing to take this D9LG to a greater level of advocacy, leadership and community building for District 9 residents.

All are welcome to provide support and volunteerism.
